The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) has implemented changes to New Jersey’s statewide assessment practices effective Spring 2019. While the online platform will remain the same, the state’s Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA) assessments will no longer be named Partnership for Assessment of College and Career Readiness (PARCC). Instead, the assessments will be called New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA). The ELA assessment will be named NJSLA-ELA, and the Mathematics Assessment will be named NJSLA-M. The science exam is named NJSLA-S.
